THE CHALLENGE
The two core violation types presented different risks. Workers entering height zones without a harness represented an immediate safety gap at the point of entry. Workers removing harnesses mid-operation - while already at height near heavy glass and building materials - represented an even higher risk scenario with no detection mechanism in place.

THE SOLUTION
We deployed a computer vision system on the existing CCTV infrastructure across all height work zones and material handling areas. The system continuously monitors for harness compliance - detecting both missing harnesses at entry and mid-operation removal. On detection, an instant alert is sent to the safety supervisor and an on-site speaker announces a voice alert - creating an immediate deterrent and response without requiring supervisor presence.
